Payment options
We offer flexible terms for payments on your Northern Bank MasterCard balance.

First we agree on a credit limit for your MasterCard, then you choose the most convenient monthly payment method:

You can pay the entire balance or any amount over the minimum payment of 3% of the balance, or £5 which ever is the greatest. You can also pay a set percentage, such as 10% or 15%, by direct debit.

Payment can be made by

  • Bank giro credit
  • eBanking transfer
  • Telephone Banking
  • Post
Up to eight weeks before you pay (other than cash advance)
Every month you will receive a statement listing any charges on the card. Your payment will be due 28 days after the statement date. That means the interest-free credit period after a purchase can be as long as eight weeks.

All credit facilities are subject to status, and applicants must be 18 years or over.
