Northern Bank encourages staff to volunteer through some of these major community programmes and works closely with organisations such as Business in the Community and the Volunteer Development Agency to recruit, train, manage and support our corporate volunteers.
Northern Bank Staff Grants
We also support staff who volunteer in their community in their own time through the Staff Grants Programme, which provides awards of £500 to voluntary and community groups with which staff volunteer in their own time. Since the programme started in 2003, £83,000 has been awarded to local groups through Northern Bank Staff Grants. If a Northern Bank employee volunteers with your organisation in their personal time, talk to your Northern Bank volunteer about Northern Bank Staff Grants.
Employees Charity Group
The Northern Bank Employees’ Charity Group was established in 1991 to support charities and good causes throughout Northern Ireland.
