A Maestro Debit card allows you to withdraw money from cash machines or buy goods and services worldwide where the Maestro logo is displayed.

  • Use your Maestro Debit card to withdraw sterling up to £350 a day, free of charge, at any Northern Bank cash machine or at a Post Office® counter
  • Get cash 24 hours a day, seven days a week at more than 40,000 cash machines throughout the UK and Ireland or at one of 600,000 cash machines worldwide displaying the Maestro logo
  • Use your Maestro Debit card to buy goods or services online, over the telephone or by mail order
  • To use your Maestro Debit card in shops or online the account holder will need to agree a spending limit with us
  • Chip and PIN technology makes sure your transactions are safe and secure
  • All transactions are authorised online, ensuring you cannot spend more than is in your account
  • Other cash machine providers may charge you for withdrawing cash
