Opening an account with us is much more convenient now that you have the option to apply online or by phone on 0800 66 00 33*.
We will give you information about our range of current accounts to help you choose one which meets your needs.
You are also welcome to visit or call one of our branches or read more about how to become a customer.
Once you open your account
Once you have opened your account, we will give you everything you need to use it (if appropriate and depending on your circumstances), as shown below.
After two to three days:
- A letter giving you your account number and user ID for eBanking
After five to 10 days:
- A Maestro card
- A Maestro card PIN
- A MasterCard credit card
- A MasterCard PIN
- Your eBanking PIN
- A chequebook
These timescales are a guideline, and for security reasons, we will send you each item separately.
