Maestro Debit card is available with our Northern Discovery (for people aged 11 to 17) and Northern Personal Access current account packages. It allows you to get cash from cash machines or buy goods and services at home or abroad at any outlet displaying the Maestro logo.
 
Easy access to cash
  • Use your Maestro Debit card to withdraw up to £350 a day, free of charge, at any Northern Bank cash machine or at a Post Office counter.
  • Get cash 24 hours a day, seven days a week at more than 40,000 cash machines throughout the UK and Ireland or at one of 600,000 cash machines worldwide displaying the Maestro logo.
  • Get up to £50 cashback from outlets that take part in the cashback scheme.


Buy goods conveniently and securely
  • Use your Maestro Debit card to buy goods or services online, over the telephone or by mail order.
  • Chip and PIN technology makes sure your transactions are safe and secure.
  • All transactions are authorised online, making sure you cannot spend more than is in your account.
